Akai DVD Player

I had purchased 29 " TV from AKAI with scheme of DVD free if India winds world cup 2003 Although I got the DVD after almost 1 yr of the world cup Indian team reaching Semi final. After little use its sound has gone detoirated and with very poor tone /burst sound , which is not pleasant to ear. The service centre recommonded by AKI in Navi Mumbai region is at Panvel , they do not seem to have expert who can understand the problem and feel the sound is alright. So my request is to get it rectified by proper service engineer who is expert and not just technician level. When I purchased AKAI , I thought Ishall get services from AKAI , but the poor experience authourised service centre can not sort out the problem . Please suggest with their contact details
